  19. In Windows NT when exiting the Remote Access Administration utility
  20. (RASADMIN.EXE) on a system with a computer name of 14 or more
  21. characters, the following error message may appear:

  23.    RASADMIN.EXE
  24.    Exception: access violation (<memaddress>), Address: <memaddress>

  29. Use the Network section of Control Panel to make the computer name 13
  30. characters or less.

  35. Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 3.1
  36. and Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1. We are researching this
  37. problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge
  38. Base as it becomes available.
